Welcome to my first Mama Dub Fitness post!

You think creating/writing a blog is hard? Just try something simple like writing the introduction!!


So, lets just dive right in!

     Hey guys! My name is Debra, I am a mama of an awesome little boy, who keeps me on my toes. I also have a 3 year old Lab pup. We live quite the active lifestyle between everyday life, such as work, school and sports, but we also LOVE to be outdoors and travel. I have always been involved in sports. I played soccer and retired after 7 years from so many injuries ( I played a little rough), but I went on to train other teams as well as coach. I am going back to school for my certification in personal training, while studying Nutrition and Kinesiology.

I have had this idea for so long, but have always been a little nervous to put myself out there because we have always lived a pretty private life. Living an active lifestyle has always been a priority, but let’s be real, somethings tend to take a back burner at some point in life, and this was what happened for me, yet here I am back in my groove and helping others along my way.

I love running it has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have done quite a few 5k’s, a few 10k’s and just completed my first ever virtual HALF MARATHON! When I’m not working out, you can find me on the sidelines of my sons sporting events or on a hike or somewhere on the road for an adventure. On top of all those fun things, I am very involved in our church, and love getting to be a part of one of our worship teams. God is a big part of our lives. I am beyond blessed with an amazing support system and can’t wait to start this journey with all of you. Being fit and healthy isn’t a fad, it is a lifestyle. There is no special pill or easy fix, it is a journey and sometimes a tough one, but I hope to make it more enjoyable and fun for you! You are never alone in your journey.

My Goals —


I am hoping to give you helpful advice and/or tools on living healthier, having fun with your work outs and helping you stick to your goals. I plan on posting some healthier meal choices, work-outs for at home, on the go, at work or the gym and make it fun and enjoyable! Your health and work outs don’t have to be put on hold just because you aren’t at a gym. We are all busy, so as of right now, throw all of your excuses out the window because they are just that, EXCUSES!
